One of the most beautiful parts of our Shul each Shabbat is the Kiddush following services. What began as a nice meal has become the heart of our community—a place where friendships are built, newcomers feel welcome, and our community comes together with warmth, care, and a true sense of family.
These Kiddushim are made possible entirely through the generosity of community members. This support not only provides the weekly Kiddush but also helps keep our Shul's doors open and enables us to meet its ongoing operating expenses.
As we prepare the 5787 Jewish Calendar, I would like to invite you to sponsor Kiddushim during the coming year. A sponsorship is a meaningful way to honor the memory of a loved one, celebrate a birthday, anniversary, yahrtzeit, or other special occasion, while helping strengthen our community.
Your sponsorship will be listed in the calendar, which is mailed to every Jewish home on Vancouver Island before the High Holidays. There is no need to make any payment now, our office will contact you during the week of your sponsored Kiddush to arrange the sponsorship payment.
