The Jewish Women's Circle of Victoria presents:

An evening with Mrs. Jackie Stern
Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010
At the home of Mrs. Charlotte Salomon, 3350 Upper Terrace Rd., Victoria

Jacqueline (Jackie) Stern was raised in a typical North American Jewish household and was active in the political and social movements of the 60's and 70's. As a "hippie", she was heavily involved in anti-war activities and joined and became vice-president of a large chapter of the National Organization for Women (N.O.W.) . Today, Stern is in her third year as principal of the general studies department at the Chabad junior high School in Los Angeles, California.

Mrs. Stern has lectured extensively in the United States and Canada for audiences that span the Jewish spectrum. In a humouristic way she shares her story, with her challenges along the way “From N.O.W. to here”.
